We got a sneak preview of fall weather last week. When I stepped outside in the morning and the crisp air hit my face it felt so good. Mother Nature has truly spoiled us. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – Fall is the best season – for food, fashion, travel, and life in general.
We’re not done with the 90 degree temps just yet, but I think (or at least hope) we’ve felt the worst of the stifling summer heat. In the meantime I’ll keep wearing easy, breezy dresses like this floral one from Fashion Bunker. Love. It’s comfy and cute. I paired it with some simple sandals and a colorful bag from DKNY to complete the look. I’m all for a simple, chic outfit. This would also make a great travel outfit. Speaking of travel, I’ll be in Cincinnati for work this week.Since I’ll be out of town for the week, I didn’t grocery shop or meal prep over the weekend. It felt strange not to because it’s become a part of my routine, but I have to admit it was kind of nice. As much as I enjoy cooking it’s nice to get a breather every once in a while. I did go to Publix though to buy fresh figs a) because I love them, b) because this was my first time seeing them in stores this season, and c) because they were on sale for buy one get one free! My parents have a fig tree at home and I miss having access to fresh figs regularly. They’re so good.If you have any Cincinnati restaurant recommendations, please let me know! I did some research and tried to find some good healthy spots and my sister came through with some great recs as well, but I always welcome more:)
