I’m no stranger to humidity as a Palmetto State native but NOLA humidity is something special. Breathable, airy clothes are probably a good idea. My trip to New Orleans last month involved a lot of mesh, but natural, lighter weight fabrics like cotton or linen would have also worked really well.
There’s so much to do, see, and eat in NOLA. But more on that last one next week! This week I’m sharing recommendations for things to do in New Orleans. And no worries, if you’re short on time. I managed to fit all these activities in a 48 hour trip without feeling too rushed.
New Orleans is relatively small in size but they packed a lot in the “Crescent City.” It’s brimming with beautiful architecture, great music, amazing food, and cute shops so it can be a little overwhelming to plan a trip there. Fear not, friends! I’ve got you covered. The research scientist in me did plenty of research before making my first trip to the Big Easy. First up, I’m talking about my stay at Sonder in New Orleans’ Central Business District.
Happy Monday Guys! I’m finally sharing my no added sugar cookie recipe from my no added sugar challenge. Sorry for the delay. This thing called life has hit me hard. Work has been hectic with some travel and big reports due and last week I did a somewhat spontaneous trip to NOLA. So much fun! It was a short trip but I feel like I covered a lot of ground. I’ll be doing some posts on what I ate, where I stayed and all that good stuff. And yes, I hit up Cafe Du Monde for beignets! They were just as delicious as I’d imagined.
