Hey Guys!
Was the weekend good to you? I certainly hope so. It was pretty good to me. I did more research on stuff to do (and of course places to eat) while I’m in Chicago. I can’t believe my birthday is less than two weeks away. I’m so ready!
Happy Monday Guys!
How was your weekend? Great I hope. Mine was actually really good. Despite a slow start on Saturday I managed to run some errands and do some exploring. Sunday I meal prepped, ate some donuts, and worked on developing a budget (so exciting, I know). I also took out my camera and took some practice shots around my apartment complex. I never told you all, but I finally took the leap and bought a DSLR over the summer. It wasn’t until the beginning of this month that I got around to taking pictures with it. It’s a shame, I know, but time has been moving so quickly!
Happy Monday Guys!
How was your weekend? Mine wasn’t too bad. Saturday I grocery shopped, checked out a local art gallery, a vintage book shop, and a few antique stores. Sounds so cultured, right?! That’s how I picture adults spending their weekends in my head, so I figured I’d give it a go. I spent Sunday catching the premieres of the Blacklist and Empire that I missed last week, and I got some rolled ice cream. It was cool to see them make the ice cream, but it wasn’t game-changing. I think I’ll stick to my grocery store pints for now.
Hey Guys! Happy Monday:)
Week 1 done! Can you believe it?! The first day was pretty awesome. I’ll start by talking about my commute. I couldn’t have asked for a better one. With the craziness that is Atlanta traffic, it took me all of 8 or 9 minutes to get to work (during rush hour). You can’t tell me my God isn’t real lol.
Hi Guys!
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend. I finally hit up the Carrboro Farmer’s Market this Saturday and stumbled across sweet potato habanero hot sauce. Yes, you read that right. You know in cartoons when their eyes pop out of their heads. That pretty much sums up how I reacted. At least on the inside. On the outside I tried to keep it cool, but I probably looked like a crazy person grinning from ear to ear. I can’t wait to use it. I’m thinking I may do a burrito or taco of some sort using ground turkey, black beans, and a shredded cheese blend with pepper jack. I also bought a jar of curried peach preserves. I’ll be making some epic sandwiches with that. Think turkey breast and goat cheese.
